FREE SEMINAR

Bullying and Cyber Bullying Presented by
The Windsor Police Service

The Salvation Army Neighbourhood Services Centre, 3199 Lauzon Road, is hosting an important and informative FREE seminar on September 18th 2008, between 7- 9pm.

-Bullying is intentional tormenting in physical, verbal, or psychological ways. -
-Cyber Bullying is the use of communication technologies to bully, embarrass, threaten or harass. -
An article from The Windsor Star stated that cyber bullying has become so prevalent in Canadian schools that it should become a criminal offence. A recent USA Today article stated that cyber bullying has increased 50%, and that it has become "bigger and meaner".
If your child is being bullied, there are ways to help him or her cope with it on a day-to-day basis and lessen its lasting impact. And even if bullying isn't an issue in your house right now, it's important to discuss it so your kids will be prepared if it does happen.

-Come out to this very important seminar alone, or with your teen/child. -

Please call 519-944-4922 to register for this important seminar by September 16th.
