Inspirational Stories About Life in Windsor.
The Salvation Army Neighbourhood Services Centre, 3199 Lauzon Road, will host a FREE Workshop. It will take place on Thursday April 17th from 7:00-9:00pm. Marty Gervais, the Windsor Star columnist, will share inspirational and nostalgic stories about Windsor people and places. He will talk about his career as a journalist, and what led him to this interest in the social and historical character of this city and southwestern Ontario region.
During his over 40 years in journalism, Marty has honed his craft as a listener and weaver of tales. Come and be inspired as you listen to this "unofficial" record keeper of the city, read excerpts from his book "My Town: Faces of Windsor".
See how conventional people can come to do exceptional things!
